The time is close to the precise Uranus-Pluto square of March 16, the last of these seven squares over the past few years pulsing with revolutionary change, a focus that has fueled our lives and this blog each week. The next week is the build-up to the crescendo, yet the dynamic change energy of the tight Uranus-Pluto square will carry through the first quarter of 2016, over the next year…gradually lessening it tight grip demanding change. However this square impacts your horoscope, you have another year to work with this energy to make the changes being called out. For example, I just worked with a client whose Mars is at 15 degrees Libra on her Ascendant. Her work is to learn to be more assertive and put her work out into the world. Despite the time frame, in rocketry metaphors, lift off and “escape velocity” are very important these next two weeks.
The Sun continues to shine in Pisces, the sign symbolizing vision, beauty, inspiration, art, compassion, and the unconscious, imaginative, and intuitive parts of ourselves. The solar passage through Pisces is a time to listen to what is calling us. Completing what is underway is a second focus, in preparation for the burst of spring that will arrive two weeks from now, when the Sun moves into Aries.
The coming week still glows with the brilliant Jupiter trine to Uranus. It is still within 2 degrees of exactitude throughout the coming week, and still giving an extra big cosmic boost of good fortune that can come in the form of great ideas, breakthroughs, astonishing surprises, and fire in the heart for making big changes! Make the most of this big gift– and allow for the surprises that may accompany the changes you cultivate.
Sunday is lighter and quieter than most in recent times. Allow the graciousness of the Libra Moon to express. Set a beautiful dinner table, light candles, pop the cork on the champagne, and celebrate all of the surprises and accomplishments of the past week. Also toast the blessings of the Jupiter-Uranus trine that is still with us and the forthcoming 7th and final Uranus-Pluto square soon to come.
Monday through Wednesday the Moon is in Scorpio where it will stir deep feelings. The skeptical and sometimes dark tendencies of this Moon placement is counterbalanced by the fiery exact Mars-Jupiter trine which gives courage to take action. Tuesday’s lunar aspects to the Sun, Jupiter, and Pluto support emotional exploration that runs wide and deep. Get things out in the open and try to resolve them. All the while, stand firmly on your convictions.
Wednesday is packed with elemental, atomic power! Mars joins Uranus and squares Pluto. This extreme, explosive power can be used constructively for breakthrough (but beware of destructive capabilities, too). Wednesday evening through Friday is brightened by a Sagittarius Moon, though Wednesday evening is somewhat strained by the limiting energy of Saturn-conjunct-Moon.
This Sag Moon forms a glorious Fire Grand Trine with Uranus (in Aries) and Jupiter (in Leo) on Thursday. This Grand Trine offers hope, generosity, and encouragement, along with brilliant, break-through ideas that may pour forth from your intuition. The optimism and inspiration of this glowing aspect spills its gifts over to Friday, and an exact trine from the Moon to Venus sweetens the deal. Let the good times roll Friday evening and dance the night away! This gala evening will give way to a more serious and somber rest of the weekend, so get your socializing in Friday.
Saturday and Sunday draw us down to duties and responsibilities. You may as well get in step with the cosmos and make it a hard-working weekend. Saturn turns stationary retrograde on Saturday, amplifying this planet’s symbolism of hard work and limitations. Saturn reminds us that diligent, hard work is in service of mastery. Saturday evening may be especially turbulent as the Moon gets close to its aspects with the near-exact Uranus-Pluto square. Avoid social plans–or navigate the territory very carefully.
Rise and shine early on Sunday and discharge the tension of the Moon-Mars square through some vigorous exercise. After that the day is relatively calm. The 7th exact Uranus-Pluto square arrives the next day. Apply yourself and take action to get a lot accomplished on this day. Review your business plan and set your specific goals and plans for the week ahead.
The Week in Short
Sunday: Set a beautiful table and celebrate the surprises and accomplishments of the past week.
Monday: Deep feelings spur courage for action.
Tuesday: Talk out deep emotional issues.
Wednesday: Extreme, explosive power. Use for construction rather than destruction, unless you’re razing a building. Tension begins to lift in the evening.
Thursday: Glorious Grand Fire Trine. Optimism, inspiration, and breakthroughs abound!
Friday: Let the good times roll and have a glorious evening.
Saturday: Roll up your sleeves and bow to the work demands of stationery Saturn and the Moon in Capricorn. Turbulent day—especially in the evening.
Sunday: Take action to get a lot accomplished and plan the week ahead carefully. Tomorrow is the 7th and last of the exact Uranus-Pluto squares, times of great change.

Moon Void-of-Course: This is the time when the Moon makes its last major angular aspect with a planet and before it moves into the next zodiacal sign tropically. This void time, when the Moon is not aspecting a planet, but rather floating on its own, is a time when things don’t come together and it’s difficult to make decisions. Purchases made during void Moons often turn out to be unsatisfactory and not work out. Appointments often don’t come together and meetings don’t result in progress or sound, lasting decisions. You will more easily get lost or meander if you’re trying to get somewhere. The VoC Moon times for the next month are listed below so that you can plan meetings, decisions, and purchases at times when the Moon is not VoC; and use the void times for gardening, reading, and routine task work.
