Mercury continues its retrograde period through June 11. Its retrograde motion beckons us to pause and re-think, re-organize, and purge the Inbox and remnants of lists undone rather than start new endeavors. Communication can get snarled and confused, so be patient with mistakes and with those who make them. Appliances, cars, and computers break down more often during the Mercury retrograde period. The next two-plus weeks call for reviewing, re-visioning, and revising…and perhaps repairing.
Sunday morning pops open with a Moon-trine-Uranus that could deliver a pleasant surprise. Otherwise, it’s a quiet day in the heavens, and the Moon is Void-of-Course. Just take it easy and bask in the Sun and fun. Watch a ball game, enjoy a picnic, or just dream big.
From Monday through Wednesday afternoon, the Moon is in efficient, practical Virgo, providing cosmic energy for putting our lives in order and getting a lot checked off our “to do” list. Monday, however, is a day packed with a variety of aspects that may not result in things proceeding in quite as orderly a manner as a Virgo Moon would like. Some Neptune aspects, including Mars square Neptune, make us dream bigger and entertain possibilities beyond boundaries and what is known. Venus-square-Uranus may create tremors of change in relationships and finances. Flow with the unpredictable. Yet be open to the possibility that the tendency to meander off course might result in a new discovery. The Moon’s light in Virgo coupled with so many aspects is sure to result in a productive day of discovery and accomplishment.
Tuesday is a much more focused day when a lot can be accomplished efficiently. A Moon-Venus sextile makes work pleasant.
Mars joins Mercury retrograde on Wednesday, calling for reviewing and re-thinking. In the morning while the Moon is Void-of-Course, steer clear of meetings and things calling for definitive decisions. Wait for clarity and action until after 2:42 PM PDT, when the Moon moves into Libra. Subsequently, problems can be graciously and fairly solved with objectivity and trust.
The Moon is in lovely Libra on Thursday and Friday. The early part of Thursday through mid-afternoon flows pleasantly. Libra is a social sign that yearns for partnership. If you can’t meet your beloved for lunch, then share it with a colleague. Thursday evening the winds of volatility are stirred up as the Moon shines its light on the Uranus-Pluto square. Social affairs and conversations Thursday evening are expansive and imaginative, and could be life-changing.
Early morning Friday is volatile. Something surprising may burst forth. Open up to change and to different ways of relating. The Moon is VoC after 1:20 PM PDT, so don’t expect much to come together after that time. Wind down the work week gently and enjoy a pleasant and beautiful dinner with a special friend or loved one.
Saturday and Sunday the Moon is in Scorpio, a time when we prefer more solitude and less socializing. The Sun and Mercury are conjunct: this is a good aspect for writing, or re-vising, or diving deep into a mental challenge.
Sunday’s Sun-Neptune square in water signs amplifies emotions. We may be more volatile and more sensitive, and also more compassionate and generous of spirit. Tune in to what you really want emotionally this day. Dream in peace and solitude—and water your garden.

Moon Void-of-Course: This is the time when the Moon makes its last major angular aspect with a planet and before it moves into the next zodiacal sign tropically. This void time, when the Moon is not aspecting a planet, but rather floating on its own, is a time when things don’t come together and it’s difficult to make decisions. Purchases made during void Moons often turn out to be unsatisfactory and not work out. Appointments often don’t come together and meetings don’t result in progress or sound, lasting decisions. You will more easily get lost or meander if you’re trying to get somewhere. The VoC Moon times for the next month are listed below so that you can plan meetings, decisions, and purchases at times when the Moon is not VoC; and use the void times for gardening, reading, and routine task work.
