Last few days of the $85 Virgo Astrology Reading: Special—Book it by September 23
Details: email Cathy at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The tragic Middletown firestorm in California started right at last weekend’s Solar Eclipse. This week begins half-way between that Solar Eclipse and ends with the Lunar Eclipse on Sunday, September 27. This is an intense time. The Total Lunar Eclipse is very potent, the fourth of four Total Lunar Eclipses in a row. It is also the second SuperMoon in a row, when the Moon is close at perigee, which increases its gravitational effects. Because it also falls on the autumnal equinox, the confluence at the eclipse is even more potent. The Supermoon Eclipse will be most visible across the eastern part of the United States, South America, and Western Europe and Africa. There are just a few more days with the Sun in Virgo tropically; so make a push during the first few days of this week to put your life in better order and get things checked off your “to do” list. The Sun moves into Libra on Wednesday, beginning a new focus on relationship, harmony, and beauty.
This first part of the week is the last of the holy days of the Jewish New Year, culminating in Yom Kippur on Wednesday. This tradition calls for repenting for any wrongs or regrets in the year past, making peace in the community, and pondering how to be a better person in the year ahead. The success or heuristic value of this annual sacred ritual turns on one’s ability to recognize and admit when one has been wrong and harmed another, and to be able to admit that and ask forgiveness. These ablutions are not encouraged in American society in general, and thus it can be very uplifting to adhere to the dictates of this sacred time of the Jewish High Holy Days, whether one is Jewish or not.
Sunday the sunny Sagittarius Moon forms a glorious fire trine with Venus in Leo and Uranus in Aries. Be adventurous. Take a hike in the awesome outdoors, and contemplate new paths to personal and spiritual growth and change.
Monday is a mixed day with both edgy and harmonious aspects. With this combination and the Moon’s entry into industrious Capricorn, a lot can be accomplished.
Tuesday is a booming day that vibrates with energy and possibility. A Moon/Pluto conjunction gives the day a powerful start. Lunar squares to Mercury and Uranus push us to think and act differently. As we are in a Mercury retrograde period, it is time to re-think and revise. The day’s dynamic aspects call this out even more. A brilliant Venus-Uranus trine could deliver a new friend or lover, or an increase or fortunate change with money. This is a day to be open to opportunities, and to re-think current projects and directions.
The Sun moves into Libra on Wednesday, also the Fall Equinox. Saturn makes benefic sextiles to both the Sun and the friendly Aquarius Moon, making this a day for community, cooperation, and productivity.
Thursday is another dynamic day, but probably not smooth and easy. Pluto is stationary turning direct, after five months in retrograde motion. When planets are stationary, their energy is stronger and their symbolism exaggerated. In addition, stationary Pluto is square to Mercury retrograde. While it may be hard to collaborate with others, there could be some insightful, breakthrough ideas that come through sharing different thoughts and ideas. So don’t shy away from interaction completely. This is a good day for renovating any aspect of your life or revising any of your projects. Mars moves into Virgo, where it will be more discerning and concerned with details. Be prepared to let go of old thoughts, beliefs, and endeavors in favor of new and better ways.
The Moon is Void-of-Course all morning Friday, so don’t try to get anything accomplished requiring decisions or definition. When the Moon is VoC it’s best to read, clean, or do anything that is routine. The Moon moves into dreamy, imaginative Pisces at 12:44 PM PDT. The afternoon is hard-wired with an edgy T-square of the Moon, Mars, and Saturn. Your efforts may be thwarted or demand greater attention. Manage the challenges that present themselves, and your endeavors will be successful.
Inspiration and optimism abound on Saturday with benefic aspects to the dreamy Pisces Moon. However, this is the day before the Lunar Eclipse, which can evoke emotional volatility. Sun and Juno are conjunct, highlighting relationship issues.
The Total Lunar Eclipse on Sunday is a very potent Full Moon in Aries. Refer to the description in the first paragraph that describes this Full Moon eclipse. Of note with this Full Moon is that the Sun is exactly conjunct Juno, the asteroid symbolizing marriage and partnership. The Moon is conjunct Vesta, the asteroid symbolizing focus, dedication, work, and self-reliance. The message of this Full Moon is “equality in partnership.” This would be a good day to renegotiate any imbalances in partnership and seek mutual empowerment. The Aries Moon always calls out new beginnings, and this one is supercharged by this powerful eclipse. Be thoughtful and intentional about embarking on new and better ways of living, especially in the realm of partnership.

Tuesday: A booming day that vibrates with energy and possibility.
Wednesday: Fall equinox. Yom Kippur. Collaborate with friends and colleagues to make things happen.

Friday: Void Moon all morning, so wait to take action or make decisions after 12:44 PDT. Challenges and tests abound.
Saturday: Harmonious, peaceful, inspiring day possible, though emotionally intense just before the Lunar Eclipse.
Sunday: Lunar Eclipse.
Moon Void-of-Course: This is the time when the Moon makes its last major angular aspect with a planet and before it moves into the next zodiacal sign tropically. This void time, when the Moon is not aspecting a planet, but rather floating on its own, is a time when things don’t come together and it’s difficult to make decisions. Purchases made during void Moons often turn out to be unsatisfactory and not work out. Appointments often don’t come together and meetings don’t result in progress or sound, lasting decisions. You will more easily get lost or meander if you’re trying to get somewhere. The VoC Moon times for the next month are listed below so that you can plan meetings, decisions, and purchases at times when the Moon is not VoC; and use the void times for gardening, reading, and routine task work.
